		Algety Telecom developed a high-speed fiber optic WDM transmission gear. Algety was acquired by Corvis Corporation, which then completed its IPO in July 2000. In 2003, Corvis finalized a merger with Broadwing Communications, a provider of data, voice and video solutions to enterprise, service provider and government customers.
