Comptia Names vThere™ Best of Show for Software Innovation at SMB Summit

Virtualized Remote Access Solution Gets Nod from VARs and Technology Solution Providers

ANDOVER, Mass. - December 5, 2006 - Sentillion vBusiness today proudly announced the company has won the Best of Show award for software innovation at this year's SMB Summit, hosted by Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA). Winning this coveted award is Sentillion vBusiness' packaged desktop virtualization solution, vThere™, which enables users to run a contained, controlled and fully functional corporate software environment in a virtualized desktop on computers in remote venues such as a home or branch office.

For more than two decades CompTIA has served the business interests of the information technology (IT) industry, by providing research, networking and partnering opportunities to its 22,000 member organizations in more than 100 countries worldwide. The Best of Show awards recognized companies that have demonstrated creativity, innovation and leadership in providing technology solutions for small and medium-sized businesses and organizations. Winners were selected by the more than 100 value-added resellers and technology solution providers that attended the conference held earlier this month in Tucson, Arizona.

"We consider it a great honor to be recognized by the members of CompTIA, said Paul Roscoe, president, Sentillion vBusiness. "To be cited at such a prestigious conference, which focuses on providing education and innovative strategies for the small and medium sized business market, validates vThere as a powerful alternative to traditional remote access solutions".

Remote workers, including teleworkers, branch office employees, contractors, business partners, or temporarily displaced employees, require access to corporate applications and data in order to be productive. This presents serious technology and security challenges because the IT department has the added responsibility of deploying and managing remote desktops, while also trying to navigate the complex security challenges associated with remote access into the enterprise. vThere is designed to help organizations overcome these challenges in a simple, cost-effective and secure manner.

"Sentillion vBusiness' vThere solution was chosen by its peers in the industry, which is a clear indication that it is delivering technology products and solutions that are providing value and performance for customers," said John Venator, president and chief executive officer, CompTIA. "On behalf of the 22,000 member organizations of the Computing Technology Industry Association, I congratulate Sentillion vBusiness."

Introduced earlier this year 2006, vThere is the industry's first virtualized and server-less remote access solution. This past October, Sentillion launched, under the direction of former-McAfee director, Chris Carter, a formal partner program, which is designed for value-added resellers (VARs), solution providers and systems integrators.
